Everyone needs to upload ID before receiving any fund

Why does the app hide the seller-written item descriptions from buyers? You have to tap on small text button that's easy to overlook in order to read what the seller wrote to describe the item (for new items especially.) If screen/UI space is an issue, only show the first 300 characters or so. Make it always displayed and highly visible, near the photo and price. The used item "condition" section is a good way to do it, and you should implement that for all items, and place it prominently, right by the important price and photo area near the top. I've used ebay as a buyer and seller for over 20 years. Hiding the"item description from seller" section just causes upset and confused users. When I asked others, most sellers didn't realize this happens. On desktop browsers, the description is visible. Shouldn't it be the same for mobile?

A lot of stuff I don’t really need but cannot live without - I find on eBay. I haven’t been really screwed but I learned. If item is ”non returnable” it quite often is not working. If description states: “battery cover lost, couldn’t test device” it certainly is junk or good for scrapping parts only.

eBay allows buyers to lie and leave negative feedback.

Tried to use it to sell some old items I didn’t use anymore/weren’t going to use. My account had a temporary suspension, and once I talked to the agent, he seemed to fix the issues. I listed the items again and my account got permanently suspended, despite me telling the agent the exact items I was selling, the price of them, and updated the listing.

App is completely broken with this update. Unusable can’t load purchases or filter searches without getting error message “missing token”.

Not worth it you sell something for say 99¢ you get 49¢ after fees. Better off listing on Facebook it’s free there!

All odds are against you, I shipped an item and then was permanently suspended with no clarification as to why and no option to appeal. They stated I MAY receive my money within 180 days.

On April 2, I bought gold earrings and I never got a tracking number. Seller will not respond to my messages so I contacted support for Ebay problem about my purchase few days later they close my account and told me I will not get refund so the seller got away from taking my money And never ship me my order. Do not trust eBay pay only protect sellers. And they let the sellers get away with their dirty work.

Three times this month you have changed how the web browser and the padOS app works and it has made it very confusing and frustrating. Posting in eBay is my full time job but you have made editing ads on tablets almost impossible and have gotten rid of the ability to see categories on other eBay listings. And now if I leave the app open, within 2min it will time out, close the app and delete all your progress. The app does not save your edits to photos 50% of the time. It took me an hour to figure out how to adjust the position of a photo in the lineup. Please stop changing it so often.

I have been selling on eBay on and off for the last 10 years. It used to be good, then all the taxes, and fees hit. Now I have multiple items listed with good titles, pictures and descriptions. Meanwhile the items have 0 views, which is pretty insane considering I’m paying to have the items promoted. I used to NEVER have to promote items for sale and would always get views constantly. Seems to me eBay has changed too much. I will no longer be using eBay and switching platforms..

I’m trying to do something basic like change the bank account that my sales go into and it’s like trying to pull a tooth with a pair of pliers.

eBay is an absolute joke, they shut me down as a legitimate seller. An item that was on the way to me was a SCAM from a different seller and they don’t shut them down. Now I lost 500 because my account was terminated. Cannot talk to a human from eBay. What a joke of a company

I have sold 7 movies and only got paid for a couple of them. I used labels provided by the app and the “ship” status has been shown for 2-3 weeks after I shipped an item, and never received the payment for them. I have a refund dispute that is NOT solved and losing money on it. I have over $90 stuck in limbo I am rightfully owed, I recommend not selling as customer service is absolutely useless.

I try to edit a listing, and all listings give me an error message to edit on a browser to add my Business Policies. When I scroll down, my policies are all correct and visible…so why? Is this why my sales just STOPPED last week?? It’s also just closing when I leave the app to get more info when listing! Like, I enter title and some pictures, leave to get description info, and come back and the app goes straight to the home page. Luckily, it saves what I’ve entered as a draft, but it’s extremely annoying.

They really need to copy cat Amazon in the shipping thing. I bought something 7 days ago was suppose to arrive yesterday and still havnt received anything or even an updated. Ps this is how websites go down eBay needs to evolve. Wake up I love eBay I do but this shipping deal is terrible!

You have made it so I can’t even use the app on my phone anymore. When I open it, it says “this version has expired, must update to continue” - well, there is no update, because now you require iOS 17 for some reason?? I can’t update past 15. I have a 1st gen SE. What could possibly be SOOO advanced and resource-intensive in a simple shopping app, to entirely require nearly the newest OS? PLEASE FIX THIS, or at least remove that stupid prompt and let me use the version I have installed.

99% of the sellers are good people, item descriptions are accurate and arrival time good. I like doing business with them and shipping in most cases is free, unlike Amazon.

Today’s search for “wire wheel spinners” gave me a spark plug size chart, a money clip, a hood ornament, and a tissue dispenser. So I gave up. Keep up the good work. ——————— Saved search for a TV show (ALL categories) insists on reverting back to “blu-ray and DVD”. Have unsaved and resaved multiple times, multiple ways. This saved search is now completely useless to me, as blu-rays and DVDs are the last thing I care about. eBay wants me to sort through 10,000 items on a daily basis. —————- Yesterdays bug: Another update to the app, another reason for a 1 star review. The algorithm now wants SO BAD to show me what it THINKS I want that I now have saved searches that don’t even show results for what I’m looking for. Instead I see results for OTHER saved searches. So there are listings I might want to buy that don’t even show up in my search because it’s other, completely wrong items. Do you just hate your daily users or what? —————- Previous review: It truly baffles me how you all continue to make updates that completely break core functionality. This morning half of my saved searches show no new results until I click on them (jut kidding, there are 55). Others show 85 results until I click and “nothing matches your search”. Others show one item when I click on a saved search until I go back, then click again, now there are 5. I am a collector of random things so it’s not going to ruin my day, but man if I depended on your app to make a living I would be livid.

eBay is awesome

When I try to revise a listing from the app it won’t let me and says I have to use a web browser. This app is useless until this is fixed.

Great Deals for most part. Like a big yard sale. Great prices. Few duds, but most part great.

I went to go download the app and it said it needed to be updated and I couldn’t update the app there was no button to allow me to update the app I have an account for the app and it continued to say update and it was really frustrating me every time I tried to use the app when a notification continued to say update to a new version and I did not see a new version I had to delete the app to clear space and reinstalled it again and one again it continued again to say it needs an updated please fix the app

I mess with eBay because it’s an excellent way to find rare/vintage items. It’s also a very smooth seller to buyer experience, with minimal work involved for both parties. 👍❤️👆🤘👌❤️👍

I sold a brand new item to Australia and buyer used it then returned it with reason "item 's not as description " I reported and kept all pics and conversations but ebay still refund to buyer and charge me for shipping fee. If you want to sell sth on ebay be careful that you won't be protected from scammer buyer. Take the risk or stop selling thru ebay!

eBay is great. I have bought things that were no longer available anywhere else.

As much as I love eBay and the variety of things that I have access to I have come to despise it because of the way shipping is handled. You purchase something on Monday in the AM and it does not get to the shipping agency until Friday afternoon 5:54 pm. I’ve literally never purchased an item that has just been shipped out next day, it’s always days later and then 5-6 day delivery time. I think that we should bring back COD, remember COD back in the day? You wanna sit on things a week and ship my item on Friday afternoon, cool, no worries, take your time. You’ll get your money when I get my item. I’m not impatient by any means but the 10 day arrival is nonsense in 2025. At that point might as well say flip eBay, I can drive anywhere in the country and back to purchase the item at a brick and mortar.

Whatever brainiac decided to change how to list things on the app deserves to get fired. Took a simple easy to use product and made it way more difficult. I use to search what I wanted to sell and list it that way. Incredibly easier than what it is now.

It’s horrible, seller submitted return and after getting the product refused to proceed with refund. And eBay confirmed that explanation of seller was right… seller is a liar and eBay worker is irresponsible, no reasons to agree with the seller in this case

You can’t even look at another app on here while you use eBay it will crash. I’m sorry but everything I look at on the app I need to be able to look up somewhere else. The app crashes every single time when you try to view another app now. Won’t be using eBay until this problem is fixed joke of a company!

I have used this app for over 10 years as a seller. At times, the app is so glitchy. I will put information in and it disappears. Sometimes I enter the same info THEEE TIMES. This is going to cause mistakes to be made. An app that makes as much money as this does should be technically better.

The app is nothing but overpriced trash and scams. Scam listing out of hongkong (identical listings different accounts) Over 50 sales each of about bucks never received a thing and ebay wouldn’t let me cancel either. wanna buy a bottle of cologne? odds are it’s gonna be a counterfeit… even when it isn’t a literal scam half the listing are stupid prices here’s an example toilet brush $15 dollars new at any store identical toilet brush used and nasty $23 on ebay. absolutely done with this app

eBay needs to fix the problem of using gift cards!!!

This app should be more transparent on how much money they take from the final sale for sellers. It feels like a scam when it’s hard to know if you’ll be making a profit from selling. Sellers are the foundation of this app, fix it.
