I mess with eBay because it’s an excellent way to find rare/vintage items. It’s also a very smooth seller to buyer experience, with minimal work involved for both parties. 👍❤️👆🤘👌❤️👍

I sold a brand new item to Australia and buyer used it then returned it with reason "item 's not as description " I reported and kept all pics and conversations but ebay still refund to buyer and charge me for shipping fee. If you want to sell sth on ebay be careful that you won't be protected from scammer buyer. Take the risk or stop selling thru ebay!

eBay is great. I have bought things that were no longer available anywhere else.

As much as I love eBay and the variety of things that I have access to I have come to despise it because of the way shipping is handled. You purchase something on Monday in the AM and it does not get to the shipping agency until Friday afternoon 5:54 pm. I’ve literally never purchased an item that has just been shipped out next day, it’s always days later and then 5-6 day delivery time. I think that we should bring back COD, remember COD back in the day? You wanna sit on things a week and ship my item on Friday afternoon, cool, no worries, take your time. You’ll get your money when I get my item. I’m not impatient by any means but the 10 day arrival is nonsense in 2025. At that point might as well say flip eBay, I can drive anywhere in the country and back to purchase the item at a brick and mortar.

Whatever brainiac decided to change how to list things on the app deserves to get fired. Took a simple easy to use product and made it way more difficult. I use to search what I wanted to sell and list it that way. Incredibly easier than what it is now.

It’s horrible, seller submitted return and after getting the product refused to proceed with refund. And eBay confirmed that explanation of seller was right… seller is a liar and eBay worker is irresponsible, no reasons to agree with the seller in this case

You can’t even look at another app on here while you use eBay it will crash. I’m sorry but everything I look at on the app I need to be able to look up somewhere else. The app crashes every single time when you try to view another app now. Won’t be using eBay until this problem is fixed joke of a company!

I have used this app for over 10 years as a seller. At times, the app is so glitchy. I will put information in and it disappears. Sometimes I enter the same info THEEE TIMES. This is going to cause mistakes to be made. An app that makes as much money as this does should be technically better.

The app is nothing but overpriced trash and scams. Scam listing out of hongkong (identical listings different accounts) Over 50 sales each of about bucks never received a thing and ebay wouldn’t let me cancel either. wanna buy a bottle of cologne? odds are it’s gonna be a counterfeit… even when it isn’t a literal scam half the listing are stupid prices here’s an example toilet brush $15 dollars new at any store identical toilet brush used and nasty $23 on ebay. absolutely done with this app

eBay needs to fix the problem of using gift cards!!!

This app should be more transparent on how much money they take from the final sale for sellers. It feels like a scam when it’s hard to know if you’ll be making a profit from selling. Sellers are the foundation of this app, fix it.

I’ve had an account with eBay since 2009. My experience with them has been very positive. While there have been a small handful of kinks along the way, every one of them were settled quickly and much to my satisfaction.

Bidders need to know when the auctions finish, but this information isn’t provided…just the number of hours left. That’s not helpful. We need the hour and day the auction closes.

I will be in the middle of a search, navigate to another app and when I go back to eBay, it restarts and I loose my place in the search. Fix this bug!!

I’ve always enjoyed the eBay app over the site/mobile site, but some of the recent updates/changes have made it more of an inconvenience to find saved searches, amongst other things. After such a long time waiting, I’d love to see the ability to “SAVE YOUR SEARCH/FILTER OPTIONS” instead of having to scroll them and re-select after each search.

Customer service or lack there of is sickening. The customer support cannot do anything. Everything has to be escalated to another department. Sends out emails with incorrect information and refuses to refund fees when eBay is in the wrong. Almost impossible to get any help from anyone at eBay and the lies after lies the reps tell you it’s honestly insane. May contact the Ohio attorney general over the poor customer service department.

eBay you were a good app at first till I started selling, this app taxes like crazy and they restricted my account so I can’t get any payouts and I’ve been waiting for awhile already, and the “Help” page is no help at all

When looking for something specific we all know what the buzzword is… go there (Az). However, my first place to shop is EBay. I usually find what I am looking for. Upon comparison usually EBay offers are less.

Why did the notifications go away when items are sold? It’s only via email now? That’s weak. Email communication is dead. Phone alerts should be active. They were there before - why remove them?

Findng my listed item is strangely hard to find. Seems like it shiukd be easier

Just like the title says, this app is a pain to use, by no means user friendly. Making matters worse, when you contact eBay support to help doing the things which should be able to be done with the app, you have to deal with inept people who are terrible at their job. Overall, avoid eBay (to include this app) at all costs (which are high on eBay btw)

I was banned after doing nothing besides browsing for items. After contacting customer service I was not given a reason for my ban but instead the person ended the chat, as they did not have evidence for my ban.

I have been a customer of eBay since it began! I’ve never had a problem they couldn’t resolve. I love eBay because they work hard to please!

Ready and willing to take your money to the point where they don't let you pick your payment method on PayPal. Who pays for the overdraft fees this app causes??? Just curious. Even support will suggest you do things on the website. This isn't a new issue BTW they just can't be bothered to bring it to parity with the website.
