Not nearly customizable enough

All the work has gone into the worthless front page promotions. Half the time, the category bar disappears and I cant even get to books, which is what I buy on ebay. the only category in books that can be searched by publication date is antique and collectible, and even that can only be searched in big chunks of 1900-1949 and 1950-present. When I mistakenly leave a search I cant get back to it with any back button. I cant delete old offers. Someone in marketing needs to talk to the geeks and make this app more user friendly.
